USB Cleaner doesn't scan the files with any antivirus or an EDR. It removes EVERYTHING from the USB Stick that is connected to it. All the data and all the malwares. There will be nothing to scan after USB Cleaner handles the USB Stick.
USB Cleaner requires 5V entry power on its micro-USB entry. You can use a simple USB charger to power it. You don't have to worry, only the power wires in the USB cable are used. You can even plug it to a computer, USB Cleaner won't be seen.
